Just to make it perfectly clear, FobOff is a bit of fun.

All error messages are randomly generated from a pre-defined list of 'technical' words. Once the thingymabob has generated the random (and funny-but-totally-realistic-sounding) error, it's then very nice to you, and grabs a random manufacturer from another pre-defined list of manufacturers, and then randomly generates an 0870 number.

With all this information at hand, you can FobOff at will!

To re-iterate, the phone numbers are randomly generated and are not in any way associated with the manufacturer displayed. And just to stop me getting in trouble, the error messages generated are in no way connected to the manufacturers.

FobOff.co.uk is also available as an automated bot on Twitter, under the name of @ITFobOffBot. The bot will tweet a random FobOff every 15 minutes. Tweets are generated in the same method as the main website and this same disclaimer applies.

To confirm, this is a bit of fun. If you don't like fun, please don't use the site or follow the Twitter bot, but please tell people about it!
